| | 01/05/2009 Buccleuch Gundogs hosted a two day retriever training course for a group of friends from Wales, Worcester, Tewksbury and surrounding areas. In total there were 7 dog handlers who brought with them a nice mix of Labradors and Golden Retrievers. Each handler brought a selection of dogs of all ages and ability. |

| | 10/01/2009 FTCH Buccleuch Jazz and IFTCH Annickview Anna both received Diplomas at the English Springer Spaniel Championships with Buccleuch Jazz also winning Guns' Choice. All the dogs under the watchful eye of trainer and handler, David Lisett, have worked really hard in their training and will now enjoy a few weeks of rest. |

| | 05/01/2009 Buccleuch Opal also known as Moss has had a successful trialling season and sadly just missed out on qualifying for the Retriever Championships. She won a one day open stake and then got second place at a two day open stake she then was in the final four in her last trial but unfortunately picked the wrong bird so did not make qualification. She has however shown that she is a quality retriever and we will await her pups this year with great anticipation. |
