We would like to introduce the new member to the Buccleuch Gundogs team. Her name is Dibley and she is a black Cocker Spaniel female with a large white bib. Her mother is Pebbles one of the Buccleuch families working dogs and her sire is FTCH Danderw Druid.
Dibley only arrived a week ago but already she has shown us that she finds no situation a challenge from entering the house, kennel blocks to meeting visitors to the kennels to the other Buccleuch gundogs nothing phases her. With this in mind she is showing the personality and attributes that we would look for when choosing a puppy.
As you can see from the photograph her boldness even stretched at 6 weeks old to tackling a very old slipper in our courtyard. We all just hope that this will not have impaired her sense of smell for the future. |
