THE CLA GAME FAIR 2009
BELVOIR CASTLE, 24TH, 25TH AND 26TH OF JULY

The CLA Game Fair was once again a successful event and again hosted some great gundog events over the three days.
David Lisett our gundog trainer was part of the team representing Scotland in the team event between England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales.
David qualified our English Springer Spaniel Buccleuch Lexie (Ruby) who at two years of age is quite a young dog to be running at such a big occasion. After coming out of the dog box and seeing the sheer size of the Game Fair and the amount of people there she took what could be described as a little stage fright. Luckily although she did not perform as well as we know she can it did not hold the Scottish team back too much and they finished the top Spaniel team.
The whole weekend of Gundog events was run professionally and many thanks must go to those who put their time and effort into it all.
