BUCCLEUCH GUNDOGS-NOVICE TRAINING DAYS

For both the novice handler and novice dog.

The day consists of setting up various retrieves including fences, ditches, water and types of cover being used to simulate the different types of retrieves.  All these features are contained within our special purpose built training area to give your gundog the best available basic training and reach the achievable goals of the group.

The group will also observe the training of various ages and breeds of the Buccleuch Gundogs from the kennels.

The day starts at 9.00am, meeting at the Buccleuch Kennels at Queensberry Estate.  The first 1/2 hour will be used for a briefing on the group's objectives to be achieved throughout the course of the day, these can be tailored to suit each individual party.  Then straight into the training session, with a break for lunch. 

There will be a de-brief at the end of the session, including a discussion on any further areas of work needed.

You will need to bring your own packed lunch with you.
